Griff Services met this client in June 2017, when Swiscot acquired a significant industrial site on the edge of Manchester city centre. The building covered around 20,000 square feet on a site just short of 1.2 acres. The initial condition of the building was poor with significant vandalism and damage to all systems (electrical, heating, etc) from repeated theft. Timescale on this project was very short. Client had around 3 months to strip this building back to a shell, redevelop, and move-in. A tall-order which frankly most contractors were not able to meet.
Griff Services team carried out a detailed assessment of site and requirements.
We came up with a plan that included the salvage of components that were possible and the installation of a brand-new electrical system include rewiring, new distribution points, mains feed, industrial supplies, and state-of-the-art LED lighting throughout. We also specified their fire system, CCTV, intruder alarm and access control including automatic vehicle gates.
Through the entire delivery process, the client was thoroughly impressed with the professionalism, pace and reliability of the GRIFF team.
We delivered each and every aspect of the project at a high-level, to budget, and well within time frames. The site-team worked extremely well alongside other contractors, and our aspects of the project were delivered ahead of schedule.
We needed 6 Solar Panels to be assembled and dismantled few days later. These were for training purposes for local Fire Brigade in Manchester. Project was successful with just few minor issues that have been addressed and resolved at the time. We would definitely use Griff Services Ltd in future.
