Manchester Enterprise Academy (MEA) is one of the top 100 most improved schools in England, recognised as a centre of excellence for pupils between the ages of 11-18.

Griff Services Ltd was appointed as a specialist contractor to install a solar panel array as part of a £10M investment.
The PV system was installed without any penetration of the waterproofing of the roof deck, ensuring the integrity of the roof which was a fundamental requirement.
The 61㎡ of solar arrays enable the Academy to generate a whopping 8235 kWh solar energy every year and achieve a annual saving worth thousands of pounds, which can now be spent in areas requiring most attention.
Producing renewable energy also has a massive impact on the environment, reducing Co2 emissions of 4.93 tonnes.
