This day centre is run by Calderdale Council. They have been providing care support to local vulnerable community in Halifax area for years
As a part of refurbishment works a new Solar Panel System was installed along with other measures.
The Council is a member of the Eco Management and Audit Scheme (EMAS).This is a standard that lets people know which organisations you can trust to have genuinely acted on environmental issues, such as, climate change and are committed to ongoing improvements.
It shows that the Council is at the forefront when it comes to tackling climate change. Some of the projects that helped achieve the standard.
30 kWp Solar Panels System were installed on roof top. Thenew system consist of latest technology in sun harnessing industry. Used SolarEdge inverters providing added safety features like safe voltage output. This detailed level of planing will probably go unnoticed as system will continue to work shamelessly.
We at Griff, are extremely proud to be able to take part in this project. It shows how Calderdale Council is at supporting local communities.
Griff Services did a great job for me. They arranged for the installation of the EV charging point at short notice and provided update and reminder text messages prior to the job. On the morning of the install they also notified me of the installer Tom's ETA. Tom did a great and tidy job and was extremely pleasant to deal with.
